Description
In my few years at the bar, every time I stumbled on a new principle of law or novel decision, the first thing that came to my head was writing an article on it. My first major legal article was published in 2016 – a rejoinder to my friend’s lecture at an arbitrators’ conference. Since that time, I have written over 40 articles published in lawyers’ blogs and national dailies on varying areas of the Nigerian law.
I did not conceive this publication until I was approached by some publishers offering to publish my articles into a book and with the benefit of hindsight, I can imagine I made a good decision giving in to the offer. This book is a collection of my (non-academic) articles displaying my thoughts on diverse issues since 2016. It is divided into 10 short chapters along the lines of practice areas – subject matter of the articles.
The book seeks to preserve, in a permanent form, my published articles for posterity and educational purposes.
