Description
Human stem cells have become a key driver of biomedical advances over the past decades. From the first transplant in 1988 to date, the use of stem cells and their derivating components (namely, IPSC) have brought relevant benefits to patients through transplantations, clinical trials, basic research. New frontiers opened from 3D bioprinting of tissues and organs promise to regenrate or substitute body parts based on precise digital models. The main ethical issues raised from stem cells applications are outlined in this book.
