Thangavelu

Dr. Thangavelu Arumugam has a PhD in Environmental Science from Bharathiar University, Defence Research and Development Organization - Centre for Life Science (DRDO-CLS) with specialization of Remote Sensing and GIS. He has over 11 years of experience teaching and research at various institutions. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science at Kannur University, Kerala. He has expertise in groundwater quality and monitoring, watershed modelling, snow and avalanche studies, coastal region studies, climate change, and EIA with statistical modelling. He has published numerous national and international research papers, one book chapter, and four books on environmental studies. He had successfully completed more than 25 UG and PG student projects.
