Dr Raju Narayana Swamy, popularly known as Kerala’s anticorruption crusader, is an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and is currently posted as Principal Secretary to the Government of Kerala, India . He holds a B. Tech. in computer science and engineering from IIT Madras, LLM (Pro) from NLU Delhi and Ph D in Law from the Gujarat National Law University. He has held several key portfolios including District Magistrate of five districts, Agriculture Production Commissioner , Kerala and Chairman, Coconut Development Board, India. Dr Swamy is the winner of the Homi Bhabha Fellowship in Information Technology and Cyber Law. An officer known for his staunch stand against corruption, he is the recipient of the Satyendra K. Dubey Memorial Award instituted by IIT Kanpur . A prolific writer and an author of 31 books, he has won the coveted Sahitya Academy Award for his travelogue “Shantimantram Muzhangunna Thazhvarayil. “ The present work was done by him under a Leonardo da Vinci Fellowship Research Grant from the George Mason University (Antonin Scalia Law School).
