Dr. R. Nandhakumar, Professor, at the Department of Chemistry, Karunya University of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University), Coimbatore, India, specializes in Organic Chemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry. He received both his UG and PG degree in Chemistry from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry in 2004 from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India. His research interests include Supramolecular Chemistry, Bio-organic Chemistry, Carbon based materials, Fluorescent Chemosensors and Chirality. To his credit, he has two international patents, ten national patents and published more than 160 research articles in peer reviewed international and national journals with a h index of 30 and i10 index of 82 and over 3000 citations.
