Ricardo Ferreira

Bachelor of Law from the Catholic University of São Paulo. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Economic Law Business and Policy from Stanford Law School (USA) and is a Specialist in Economic Law from FGV-SP. He serves as NGA to the International Competition Network (ICN) and also served as legal counsel to CADE, under the UNDP, providing independent legal counseling for the drafting of its Remedies Guidelines issued in 2018. Ricardo has more than 15 years experience in antitrust, regulation and litigation in Brazil and abroad especially with financial and payments regulation in Brazil. Ricardo practiced law with the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Brussels, counselling clients in European and Brazilian Competition law matters and has been active in some of the most relevant antitrust cases in Brazil in recent years.
