Augustine

Dr. Augustine Frazer serves as Pitt County Department of Social Services Interim Director. He has experience in human services management, homelessness, child abuse and neglect, family, and mental health. He has worked in Maryland, Boston, Ohio, Washington DC, PA, and is widely travelled. Dr. Frazer has lived experience in homelessness as a youth in Sierra Leone. He designs and implements programs in human service in pre-and post-disaster reconstructions, evaluation of social service delivery, and crisis intervention. Dr. Frazer believes in leveraging resources to meet the needs of the complex emerging and reemerging social service demands, adjusting programs to both external and internal challenges and opportunities, advocate with stakeholders to assess strategies to increase program outputs and outcomes. 25 years experience
