Yogendra Gandhari was born in 1985, grew up in Gorkha (the place of Gurkha warriors), Nepal, and holds expertise in the education sector with substantial working experience in the development sector. Mr. Gandhari himself faced many ups and downs in his academic career and the book entitled ‘Equitable Education: From Policy to Praxix’ incorporates his reflection. Mr. Gandhari worked in many Dalit right-based organizations, government, and non-government organizations working in the education sector. His academic discourse on policy analysis from the perspective of ‘Dalit’, and thesis on ‘A systems analysis of caste-based discrimination in Nepal: Identifying a tipping point to dismantle endemic marginalization of Dalits’ have enriched his knowledge and expertise in both education and inclusion sectors.
