Mark Myatt is a consultant epidemiologist. His clients include the governments of the UK, USA, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, Nigeria, and Sudan; the UK National Health Service and Public Health Laboratory Service; the Scottish Centre for Infection and Environmental Health; United Nations Organisations such as WHO, UNICEF, UNHCR, and WFP; ASEAN; and many International NGOs. He has taught at several UK Universities and national schools of public health.He has done cost-effectiveness analyses of nutrition programs in Bangladesh, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, and Niger.
