Dr. Prashanth G Malur: Associate Professor- Media, MABFSI- MAHE.
Dr. Malur a M.Com Graduate from Bangalore University and Diploma in Freelance Journalism from British Institutes, Mumbai, holds PhD from Manipal Academy of Higher Education for his research in Visual Media Education, the first ever study in Asia which is on formulating the syllabus, content and curriculum for Visual Media (TV & Film) Education. He holds International certification in Training from City & Guilds, London, Apple Inc, USA, Instructional Design from Edx and Creative Writing from Coursera. Dr. Malur has authored Maadhyama in Kannada, directed theatre plays, TV shows, ads, documentaries, corporte and short films. He is a recepient of Dada Saheb Phalke Award for his documentary. An avid reader, writer, researcher, and thinker, Dr. Malur is inclined to formulate solutions at the grass root level.
