Dr. Ramaiyan Velmurugan is working as Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacology, School of Pharmaceutical sciences, Vels Institute of Science Technology and Advanded Studies, Chennai, India. He has 15 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry, Research and Development and Academics. He received his PhD degree from Annamalai University. The author has to his credit many scientific publications in national and international journals and many patents in drug delivery. He is the member of many statutory bodies.
