R.Kalaivani was born on 1987 at Sivakasi, in Virudhunagar District, Tamilnadu, India. She completed her Doctoral Degree in History in the year 2018. Her area of Specialization is Women Studies and Modern Indian History. Her Educational Qualification is M.A., M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D. She is working as a Assistant Professor of History in The Standard Fireworks Rajaratnam College For Women, Sivakasi since 2010. She has presented Research Articles in National and International Seminars. Published 12 articles in National and International Journals like SSRN- Elsevier Journal and other UGC Care Journals. Received Rs. 1, 55,000/- from University Grants Commission, Hyderabad for Minor Research Project entitled “ Violation of Women Rights in Tamilnadu 1906-1947” on 2015.
