Alessandra de Albuquerque Tavares Carvalho holds a doctorate in Dentistry from the Federal University of Paraíba (2002). She is currently a member of the collegiate of the Graduate Program in Dentistry and the Department of Clinical and Preventive Dentistry and was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Dentistry at the Federal University of Pernambuco from 2014 to 2018. Has experience in Dentistry, with an emphasis on Stomatology, working mainly on the following themes: diagnosis of oral lesions, therapies with natural products (phytotherapy), oral manifestations resulting from chemotherapy and and radiotherapy of malignancies.
