Description

Law as a field is varied and diverse; there are multiple realms to the legal field of study, which remains to be explored, both Indian and Global. This book examines three such aspects of Law- the Constitution (the very basis of the law of any nation), and how India and the US differ in terms of the provisions of their respective Constitutional nature and provisions; The incompleteness of Inchoate offences and its applicability in Indian Criminal Law; and finally Tort, the foundation of the ‘Grey Area’ of Law and the different definitions presented by Legal luminaries John Salmond and Percy Winfield, and their tenets in the legal codified and precedent-based system. Two of the papers (Constitution and Inchoate Offences) have been published in the esteemed Indian Journal for Law and Legal Research and the Indian Journal for Research in Law and Management respectively, indicating the careful detail and attention that has been put into making the papers. Each paper within the book contemplates one imperative area of law, and attempts to make a comprehensive analysis like no other.
