Biogas technology offers a promising solution for mitigating climate change and promoting a just transition in the rural areas of Limpopo, South Africa. In rural areas of Limpopo, South Africa, communities face significant energy poverty, relying heavily on traditional biomass sources such as wood and charcoal. This dependency not only contributes to deforestation and health problems but also exacerbates greenhouse gas emissions.
