Description
The tendency of this work is to analyze extreme events associated with sea level rise. From the observed meteorological tide data. Having data for the years 2002 Beira station, 2011 Inhambane station, and 2011 Pemba station, these data were kindly provided by (INAHINA). For the pressure data for the years and seasons referenced above were downloaded from the database of https:// www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/cgi-bin/DataAccess . The main objective of the study is to evaluate the occurrence of extreme sea level events in relation to their variability in three (3) regions of the coast of Mozambique. The variation of negative and positive events in the TASK meteorological tide was analyzed, the monthly and annual averages were calculated and the events of over-elevation +3 and -3 standard deviation were quantified, with thematlabit was analyzed and interpreted in the form of a graph, in order to analyze the variation influenced by pressure for ESI, ECB, ENP.
