Description
This literature aims to bring to the world's attention, the critical area of sexual and reproductive health literacy (SRHL) among youth living with HI (YLHIV) and how it is likely to impact the global target of an AIDS free generation by 2030.Thus, we specifically aimed to determine the prevalence of sexual and reproductive health literacy among this study population and factors associated with the observed prevalence. We demonstrate how theoretical guidance on factors possibly associated with the observed outcome was largely provided by the socio-cognitive theory (SCT) as well as discuss the possible explanations for our findings and what their implications could be on public health policy and practice.
