The book with the title „Features and processes of limestone karsts” consists of ten chapters giving an overview of the author’s karst researches of several tens of years. Exceptions are chapter 1 and two since they have never been published so far. Chapter 1 gives a framework for the other chapters and describes karst features and their genetics. Figures and photos give a vivid description. Eight chapters are already published articles and deal with features (karren and dolines) which are in the focus of the author’s researches and specialities (description of the shafts of the Bakony Region and Hungarian karst types). Five chapters were published in international journals, while three in Hungarian journals (two articles in Hungarian language only). Mainly the latter are significant articles since they can be read in English, while their original varieties are in Hungarian. The author tried to choose the most recent articles during researches of several tens of years. There is only one exception, an article was published in 2000, and the others are from the year of 2015 or earlier.
