Description

Uranium being the primary fuel for energy production, as well as the primary ingredient for nuclear weapon has made its free world flow difficult and violations thereof attract huge sanctions from around the world. This book is divided into three chapters which, firstly, talks about the world regulations and political groupism of limited countries, biased product flow agreements, sanctions around the nuclear fuel usages and the political ins and outs of the India's journey towards being a Nuclear State; which ranges from NTP, NSG, to regulations of United Nations. Uranium being a politically and economically distressed fuel, pushes the nations towards its mining and exploration, which saves them from a lot of diplomatic and monetary vicissitudes for a definite future fossil-free fuel. However, the process being long and arduous can result in large and long-lasting environmental concerns related to radioactive waste and other pollution problems; which have been discussed in direct context of India and Indian uranium mines.
