Morley Swingle is a prosecutor in the Armed Offender Unit of the Circuit Attorney's Office in St. Louis. As both a state and federal prosecutor, he has personally prosecuted over 80 homicide cases and has tried more than 145 jury trials, some featured on Dateline, Forensic Files and Oprah. His historical mystery thrillers include The Gold of Cape Girardeau (praised as "absorbing courtroom drama by Elmore Leonard) and Bootheel Man (finalist for the 2008 William Rockhill Nelson Award for fiction).
