Leeba

Dr. Leeba Balan is currently the Director at Bionyme Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She has obtained her PhD, degree in the field of Plant Tissue Culture and Phytochemistry of Medicinal Plants from University of Madras, India and have participated in several high profile conferences. In addition to her career, she is also a reviewer in the Journal of Molecular Structure and have reviewed scientific research papers. She has been awarded with a funding for the enhancement of banana varieties in Tamil Nadu, India by Seed Fund Scheme under Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) by New Delhi, India. Her area of interests include Nanotechnology, Protoplast Culture, Cancer Biology and Herbal Technology.
