Dr. Amit Kumar is working as Deputy General Manager (Quality Assurance and Training), Quality Assurance and Training Division in Bharat Immunologicals and Biologicals Corporation Limited (BIBCOL), Village Chola, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, India and has sixteen years work experience in different divisions of Biotechnology Industry including Research & Development, Production, Project & Product Development, Quality Assurance and Training. I have also worked in various Indian reputed academic and research institutions such as Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh; Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, Delhi; Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Insitute (VPCI), University of Delhi, Delhi etc. I started my professional career as a microbiologist after completion of Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Microbiology from Institute of Pathology (Indian Council of Medical Research), New Delhi, India. I have published numerous research and review articles during my professional journey related to vaccine, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology and training in various international (33) and national (20) journals and have also presented my research contribution on emerging issues of science and technology in different international (02) and national (16) conferences, invited lectures in academic institutions (07) and symposiums. Author is acquainted with advanced techniques through various professional trainings on vaccine testing, laboratory quality management system, genomics, immunology, molecular biology, intellectual property rights, statistical methods etc from reputed national institutions. Apart from the above, I have contributed remarkable and novel innovation in life science under international category of product patent for Biotech industry.
