Prof. Joachim

Joachim Wagner (*1954) studied economics at the University of Hannover (Germany) where he received his Diploma in 1979, his Doctoral degree in 1984, and his Habilitation in 1990. Since 1993 he was Professor of Economics at Leuphana University Lüneburg (Germany). His main areas of research are international firm activities and applied microeconometrics. He published more than 200 papers in international journals. He is an editor of the Journal of Economics and Statistics, and a co-editor of Economies and of Economics – The Open-Access Open Assessment E-Journal. Joachim Wagner is research professor at Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
