Diego Lanzi is Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna. He completed his Ph.D at Siena University and his M. Phil at the Universitad Autonoma de Barcelona. His research interests lie in the area of social sciences, ranging from choice theory, human development and poverty, networks, gender and sustainability. He is author of more than fifty articles and books published worldwide and member of Centro di Analisi delle Politiche Pubbliche (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), Gender and Well-Being Network (Universidad de Barcelona), Human Development and Capability Association (Harvard University).
