Dr. Arnab Majumdar, a researcher at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, India, is an emerging scientist in the field of soil-plant biogeochemistry and environmental microbiology. His research is focused on the toxic elements especially arsenic with subsequent adverse impact on the field-crop environment and possible mitigation strategies. Dr. Majumdar is an expert reviewer of Elsevier, Springer-Nature, Frontiers and Willey publishing houses with life-time and regular membership in Five international science societies. He is promoting sustainable agronomic practices, minimizing the toxic elemental effects with involvement of biotic and abiotic factors for the benefit of common people by addressing mass awareness programs and international conferences as well.
