Icaro

Icaro holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Federal University of Piauí. During his studies, he conducted research on ORAI and GABA ion channels and contributed to clinical studies on vascular neurology and Parkinson's disease. In 2018, he was awarded the Professor Dr. Lívio Parente Medal by the Brazilian Society of Biophysics. Icaro is currently a PhD student at FMRP-USP, where his research focuses on the intersection of vascular and cognitive neurology.
