Na-Young Kim received her Ph.D. in English Education from Ewha Woman's University in Korea. Over the past ten years, she's been teaching a variety of EFL classes including academic and practical English courses. Since 2018, she has been an assistant professor at Sehan University. The research area that she has focused on is chatbot-related language learning. She has studied artificial intelligence (AI) and robot-like characters called chatbots playing a role as conversational agents which encourage an intelligent conversation with language learners. Her current interests also include computer-, technology-, and multimedia-assisted language learning. She has been publishing a number of research papers, including KCI-indexed and SCOPUS-indexed articles.
