Sumit

Sumit Narayan is a qualified maritime professional who has experience of working as a marine engineer with the Shipping Corporation of India. In addition to a Master's degree in Disaster Studies from the SCDR, JNU, New Delhi, India, he holds a B.Tech. in Marine Engineering from the Indian Maritime University, Kolkata, India. He has received multiple national and international scholarships.  He developed a technique to forecast landslides, for which he was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Government of India in 2012.
