Pierluigi De Rogatis is an MRes postgraduate student of international political economy at the University of Essex. He is a research and lab assistant at the University of Essex and a research analyst for the Institute of International Relations Analysis (IARI). His work focuses on the international politics of finance, trade, and central banks, particularly regarding current geoeconomics scenarios and future trends. He is currently working as an Intern Junior Research Fellow at the EIPRHR, investigating European economics and the Euro, and as an Academic Features Editor at the E-IR publisher. He was awarded the prestigious Best First-Year Student prize at the University of Trieste, where he completed his BSc in International Relations in 2021, and the prominent Ronald J. Hill scholarship at the University of Essex.
