The author of the book, Dr. Tania Merinas-Amo, has graduated in Biology in 2008 and a Master degree in "Translational Biomedical Research" in 2011 from the University of Córdoba (Spain). She was awarded international PhD degree in "Biosciences and Agri-Food Sciences" from the Department of Genetics of the University of Córdoba in 2017, with a stay at the Laboratory of Ethnobotany and Ethnopharmacology of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (Czech Republic). Her research is focused on the genotoxicology of foods and its constituents by using in vivo and in vitro model systems.
