Niranjan

Dr. Niranjan Shetty is a triple postgraduate in Commerce, Management and Economics. He obtained M.Com and M.B.A degrees with first class and MA degree with a rank. He secured M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Management on the topic Microfinance and Financial inclusion. He has over 22 years of experience in teaching, management, corporate projects, and research. Dr. Shetty has been teaching to the students of graduate, postgraduate and professional levels in India and abroad like HND, BBA, BBM, B.Com., B.Sc., MBA, and ACCA affiliated to internationally recognised universities and content providers such as BTEC Pearson-UK, Mangalore University-India, University of Bradford-UK, MOHERI-Oman, ICFAI-India, and ACCA-UK. He has published 20 research articles in the peer reviewed journals of national and international repute and presented 10 conference papers in India and abroad. He represents the board of examiners for a couple of universities and acts as a reviewer for some research journals as well. Dr. Shetty has compiled 3 books on Accounting and Finance. His interests include broad areas of business management and conducting training on the selected topics. Currently Dr. Shetty is serving the College of Banking and Financial Studies, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, one of the premier government higher educational institutions in the MENA region as an Assistant Professor in the Dept of Undergraduate Studies and Continuing Education and as a Programme Leader for HND, Pearson-BTEC.
