Water and Industry are two important aspect of human civilization. Water is the beautiful gift of Nature whereas Industry reflect the technological advancement to meet our various need. They complement as well as contradict. Industry need Water for its operational purpose but at the same time it disturb the natural balance of water and then we labelled that water as polluted water, with the help of certain approved parameters.
In this book we have given a beautiful fact based compilation to show that, how various sources of water being adversely impacted with various types of industries. The water sources include Surface, Ground, River and Canal. We have analyzed them through 15-22 parameters. The study area is the best representative of Indian scenario with a Global touch as it is a port area where River Mahanadi is life line of Odisha meets Bay of Bengal on the other hand within the study area both Urbanization and Rural life is present.
