Achieving Sustainable Devlopment Goals by reducing food insecurity is a great challenge but would not be easy for developping coutries. Nowadays, there are clear evidences that climate has become the new threat for food security, especially for developping countries. For countries like Benin, adapting to climate change is therefore the only way whereby food security can be achieved, this because of the gricultural sensitivity to climate change and its importance in achieving food security. Under agriculture, there is fishery sector which also plays key for households in Benin. Climate change poses significant and long-term risks to fisheries in many tropical developing countries in general and Sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries in particular despite the benefits gained from that sector. This study identified the determinant of adaptation strategies to climate change in the southern region of Benin among fishing communities.
