Airborne Pollen Analysis for Pollinosis Patients Using Immunochemical Method and Other Methods
$ 70
Description
He established a method to measure pollen allergens that cause pollinosis. He established a method to quantify allergens by adsorbing pollen allergens to a membrane that adsorbs proteins, as well as a method to detect minute amounts of airborne allergens by collecting air samples, extracting the allergens, and quantifying them using an ultra-sensitive method called radical immunoassay. The author has been interested in astrobiology since he was young, and in between studying particles floating in the local area, he has thought about the movement of life in space, and has also become interested in the radiation resistance of lichens and their movement in space. In 1999, he received the 1999 Society Encouragement Award from the Japanese Society of Palynology.
