This research aimed to examine the effects of wild animal destruction on food security, agricultural productivity, and sustainability in Pahala Lenagala Grama Niladhari division, Kagalle district, Sabaragamuwa province, Sri Lanka. This study explores the effects of wild animals on crop yields, including an in-depth review of the species implicated, the most impacted crops, and the financial consequences for nearby farmers. This study explores potential mitigation measures for crop damage caused by wildlife, providing insights into balancing agricultural output with wildlife conservation.
