Description
This book discusses the trials and tribulations of a scientist on his way from young inexperienced student to major player in several fields of scientific endeavor.. Major problems associated with dealing with other scientists and with less than competent administrators are given considerable attention as are interactions with different organizations ranging from domestic to international. The tone of the book is set somewhat light-heartedly in order to try to keep attention devoted to different themes but with an underlying sense of seriousness. It is hoped that the story of such a scientific life will enable young students to overcome difficulties in their struggles to attain recognition.
