Description
The Schiff based ligands were synthesised and subjected for cyclisation with nickel to for tetra substituted Nickel (II) phthalocyanine tetra 1-benzyl-1H-pyrazol-3-carboxamide Cobalt (II) phthalocyanine (CoTBPCAPc) and Tetra–ethyl-1H-indazol-3-carboxamide Cobalt (II) Phthalocyanine (CoTEIndCAPc) with MWCNTs were characterized by various spectroscopic methods like IR, UV-Vis, Powder-XRD, MASS and TG analysis, an original electrochemical sensor for the sensitive detection of paracetamol (PA), Dopamine (DA), 4-AP and Heavy Metals. These complexes exhibits a good stability nature with organic solvents like DMF and DMSO. The modified electrode was utilised for the detection of paracetamol (PA), Dopamine (DA), 4-AP and Heavy Metals by cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltametry and amperometry methods. The linear response was observed in the concentration range 50-500 nM for CV,DPV, 50-500 nM in amperometry. The novel synthesis of was developed by dropcasting a mixture of processed CoTBPCAPc with appliance of composite MWCNTs on a glassy carbon electrode.
