Velia Angelica Oyardo Rivero is a licensed professional teacher and guidance facilitator. She finished her Master of Arts in Education, Major Guidance and Counseling in FEU Roosevelt and graduated from Our Lady of Fatima University-Antipolo City Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. The author became interested in the phenomenon namely Global Labor Migration, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), Social Cost of Global Labor Migration, and Children Left Behind or Adolescents with Both Parents Working Abroad, which led her to conceptualize the study. The personal advocacy is to strengthen migrant family and address migrant issues and concerns at the school level for the benefit of many. The author wishes to dedicate the book to: Rey de amato C.
